“사랑하는 아이들아,
오늘도 예수님께서 여기 너희 곁에 계시다.
너희가 혼자인 것 같고,
삶에서 빛이 사라진 것 같을 때에도 말이다.
그분께서는 여기 계시며,
결코 너희를 두고 떠나시거나
멀어지신 적도 없으시다.
예수님 탄생의 빛이 이 세상과 너희의 삶을 비춘다.
그분의 성심은 언제나 너희를 향해 열려 있다.
너희의 모든 고통과 모든 시련,
두려움과 어려움을 받아들이시려고 말이다.
그분의 두 팔은 너희를 향해 벌려있다.
아버지로서, 너희를 감싸 안으시고
당신에게 너희가 얼마나 중요한지,
얼마나 너희를 사랑하고
당신 자녀들인 너희에게 얼마나
마음을 쓰고 계신지 말씀해주시려고 말이다.
아이들아, 너희의 마음도 예수님께 열려있느냐?
너희 삶을 그분 손에
온전히 맡겨드린 적이 있느냐?
예수님을 아버지로 받아들여,
언제나 그분께 의탁하고, 그분 안에서 위로를 찾으며
참된 믿음의 삶을 사는 데에 필요한
모든 것을 찾을 수 있도록,
예수님을 너희가 맞아들였느냐?
그러니 내 아이들아,
너희의 마음을 예수님께 내맡기고
너희의 삶을 다스리시도록 해드려라.
그렇게 해야만 너희가 현재를 감내하며
오늘 너희가 살아가는 세상을 마주할 수 있는 것이다.
예수님과 함께라면,
모든 두려움과 고통과 아픔은 사라진다.
너희의 마음이 그분의 뜻을,
너희 삶에서 오게 될 모든 것들을
받아들일 것이기 때문이다.
예수님께서 모든 것을 받아들일 수 있는
믿음을 너희에게 주실 것이며
어떠한 것도 너희를 그분께로부터 멀어지게 할 수 없을 것이다.
당신 손으로 너희를 굳게 잡아주시고
어려움의 순간에 너희가 멀어지거나 길을 잃도록
내버려두지 않으실 것이기 때문이다.
그분께서 너희 삶의 주인이 되어 주실 것이기 때문이다.
나는 엄마의 축복으로 너희를 축복한다.”
“Dear children, also today Jesus is here beside you, even when you think that you are alone and that light does not exist in your life. He is here and has never left you or distanced Himself from you. The light of His birth illuminates this world and your life. His Heart is always open towards you, to receive your every pain, every trial, fear and need. His arms are extended towards you, that as a father, He may embrace you and tell you how important you are for Him, how much He loves you and cares for His children. Children, is your heart open towards Jesus? Have you completely surrendered your life into His hands? Have you accepted Jesus as your father, to whom you can always turn and in Him find consolation and everything you need to live true faith? That is why, my children, surrender your hearts to Jesus and permit Him to begin to rule your lives, because only in this way, will you accept the present and be able to face the world in which you live today. With Jesus, every fear, suffering and pain disappear, because your heart accepts His will and everything that comes into your life. Jesus will give you the faith to accept everything and nothing will distance you from Him — because He firmly holds you by the hand and does not permit for you to distance and lose yourselves in difficult moments — because He has become the Lord of your life.
